Traffic News: Carver Street

Vehicles will be prohibited from driving along Carver Street in the Jewellery Quarter, from its junction with Moreton Street to Tenby Street from 8th May 2017. This restriction will remain in place for five days, although access to frontages will be maintained as necessary.
The reason for this temporary prohibition, which has been given by Birmingham City Council, is to ensure a safe working area in order to facilitate the assembly of a Crane on the Highway.
The alternative route for vehicles affected by this order will be via Moreton Street, Pope Street, Camden Street, Albion Street, Tenby Street and Tenby Street North.
