The local JQ favourite Indian Brewery is going bigger and bolder in 2018 with a brand new expansion into the adjoining arch next to Snow Hill station opening today (3 January).

Alongside the increased seating capacity, new features include a visible glass cellar and Indian-inspired bespoke artwork on the walls. A ‘Made In Birmingham’ sign hangs in the entrance as a nod to all the local producers, talent and contractors that the owners have used on the the project.

The full selection of Indian Brewery’s home-brew beers will be on offer to guests including Indian Summer, Bombay Honey and Peacock alongside the original favourite Birmingham Lager and the brand new Koko, a cocoa-infused beer. In addition to their own brews the menu includes over 100 different craft beers.

For owner Jaspal Purewal, the food is as important as the beer: “The Indian Brewery has always been drinks focused, but the past year has shown that our food offering has been just as popular. With an expanded new food menu and cocktail list, we’re sure it will satisfy more hungry appetites.”

The Indian Brewery sits alongside other local bars and restaurants underneath the Livery Street railway arches including RJJZ Jazz Cafe and Connolly’s Wine adding new flavours in a unique venue to the already buzzing JQ bar and restaurant scene.
