Lunchtime Concert with Emily Hopper Harpist

Kicking off the summer festivities, St Paul’s Church is delighted to present a mesmerizing lunchtime concert featuring the incredibly talented Emily Hopper on the harp. Join them on 6th of July at 12.30pm as Emily’s enchanting melodies fill the air, transporting listeners to a world of musical delight. This free concert is open to all, offering a moment of serenity and tranquillity in the heart of Birmingham.

 

Birmingham Jazz and Blues Festival on St Paul’s Square

Prepare to be swept away by the rhythms and melodies during the 39th annual Birmingham Jazz and Blues Festival, taking place across the city. There will be performances on St Paul’s Square daily from 18th July to 21st July, we invite jazz enthusiasts and music lovers alike to experience the soulful sounds of four exceptional performances. Each lunchtime at 12, the square will come alive with an eclectic mix of jazz styles, performed by local and international artists. Mark your calendars and immerse yourself in the unforgettable atmosphere of Birmingham’s thriving jazz scene.

JQ Festival

The much-anticipated JQ Festival is set to captivate visitors with a day celebration of live music. On Saturday July 22nd, St Paul’s Square will be transformed into a stage for an array of incredible musicians, spanning diverse genres. Whether you’re a fan of rock, pop, R&B, or reggae, you’ll find a melody to move you during this dynamic festival. Indulge in the electrifying performances, relish delicious food and drink from local vendors, and explore the vibrant atmosphere that makes JQ Festival a highlight of the summer season. The church will be open throughout the day with guided tours available every half hour between 11am-1pm and 2pm – 4pm, to take in the history and beautiful architecture.

St Paul’s Summer Fete on August Bank Holiday Monday

Wrap up the summer with the delightful St Paul’s Summer Fete, held on the August Bank Holiday weekend Monday 28th August. This charming fair brings together the community for a day of family-friendly fun and entertainment. Sample delicious treats from food stalls, discover unique crafts, and enjoy live music as you soak up the joyous atmosphere. St Paul’s Summer Fete promises to be an unforgettable experience for all ages.
