Closure of M6 J6/A38(M) Spaghetti/Gravelly Hill Interchange from Friday 1 September (8 pm) to Monday 4 September (6 am).

M6 J6/A38(M) Spaghetti/Gravelly Hill Interchange will be closed from Friday 1 September (8pm) to Monday 4 September (6am).

This is required in order to complete the programme of summer maintenance works and ensure that all restrictions are removed by Monday 4 September.

From 8 pm Friday 1 September to 6 am Monday 4 September:

• The A38(M) Aston Expressway will be closed – no traffic will be able to access the Expressway to either enter or leave Birmingham.
• There will be restrictions to M6 J6. Entry slips roads from Salford Circus onto the M6 northbound and southbound will be open. All other slip roads on and off the M6 at junction 6 will be closed.

From 6 am on Monday 4 September all restrictions should be lifted including reinstatement of the tidal flow lane and re-opening of the slip roads from Tyburn Road to A38(M) and Gravelly Hill to A38(M).
