The JQ Festival is back next month (20th- 22nd July) and the Jewellery Quarter Business Improvement (JQBID) is inviting local businesses and residents to an official JQ Festival Open Day Drop-in.

Running across two locations – St Paul’s Square and Golden Square (JQBID unit underneath The Big Peg) – on Friday 6th July, members of the team will be on hand to answer questions, provide materials and talk about the event that celebrates the people, businesses and history of the area.

Luke Crane, JQDT Executive Director said: “There are some changes to this year’s event which we are really excited about. In addition to the two Squares, I am delighted that we will have a third festival hub at Stans Cafe (AE Harris, Northwood Street). Delivered by Quartermasters, the JQ Makers Hub is a pop-up shop and contemporary showcase of our diverse maker community here. For the very first time, we’ve collaborated with the local JQ music schools on the JQ Music Trail where visitors and businesses can enjoy music on every corner of the Quarter. Whilst the award-winning JQ breweries are running ‘Brewery Quarter’ – simply enjoy the ale and win a free limited edition t-shirt!”

“The celebration of the Quarter’s businesses is continuing throughout the summer with the JQ Festival Voucher Booklet. It is full of offers, discounts and promotions and can be used throughout July and August.”

Businesses and residents are encouraged to visit the Drop-in to pick up programmes and voucher booklets. The team will be available from 8am to 5.30pm at both locations.
