Virtual Coffee Morning for Parents by Bright Minds Daycare

Lockdown with young children is no walk in the park! To support parents with children at home, Bright Minds Daycare is hosting Virtual Coffee Mornings in March, bringing together parents and childcare workers to share tips, offload and chat. 

Bright Minds Daycare is ready to support families and welcome children back as the nation exits lockdown. Missing the regular drop-off and pick-up chats and looking to support families at home, Bright Minds have decided to host virtual coffee mornings online every Tuesday in March at 10 am.

This opportunity is open to any parents, not just clients at the nursery. The informal chats will be a chance for parents to share their experiences with others about being at home with a child under 5, to let off a bit of steam about life in general, and hear from others going through similar experiences.

The Zoom calls will be hosted by experienced Nursery Managers and Practitioners, who will be on hand to answer any questions, however big or small, about your child’s learning and development. They will also be sharing ideas for activities and routines to support families at home.  All parents and carers with a baby, toddler or pre-schooler in the local area are welcome to join, regardless of whether they are members of Bright Minds Daycare or not!

Schedule for March Virtual Coffee Mornings

2nd March – WELLBEING: We will provide useful techniques to help boost your little superstar’s wellbeing – as well as your own!

9th March – OUTDOORS: Discover the importance of outdoor play for your child’s physical wellbeing, and also their learning and development.

16th March – TRANSITIONING: From when your child starts nursery, progresses to a different room or leaves for school, we will offer guidance for all stages.

23rd March – MINDFULNESS: Learn how to be in the present moment, create positive affirmations and let the whole family try our mindful activities.

30th March – FOOD & SLEEP: Join us if you want to know our top tips for coping with a fussy eater, how to start your little ones weaning journey or simply how you can all get more sleep.
