Plans confirmed for the Bupa Great Birmingham Run

Good luck to everyone taking part in the Bupa Great Birmingham Run next Sunday (20th)!

The organisers are expecting 20,000 people to take part in the 12-mile race and 500 children to complete the new Junior/mini runs.

The route, which starts from Sand Pits/Parade near the Jewellery Quarter, can be viewed here.

Here are some of the key locations and times of the event:

7am: Information area in NIA open

7.30am: Charity Village open – Centenary Square

9am: Start of the Bupa Junior Great Birmingham Run

9:40am: Start of the Bupa Mini Great Birmingham Run

9:45am: Start of the Bupa Great Birmingham Run Elite Wheelchair’s race

10:10am: Start of Elite Men/Women Race

Please note: The last walker is expected to finish at 3.05pm.
