It has been confirmed that pavement resurfacing will start this month in a bid to improve highways in the Jewellery Quarter.

Amey will be starting work on the improvements the week ending 16^th May on Moreton Street, with extensions to Carver Street and Pope Street. The maintenance works will last for approximately two weeks between the hours of 8am – 6pm.

Access to properties on these roads will be restricted and vehicles should not be parked on the pavements during these hours as they risk being removed by the city council.
