Pavement improvements afoot

It has been confirmed that pavement resurfacing will start this month in a bid to improve highways in the Jewellery Quarter.
Amey will be starting work on the improvements the week ending 16th May on Moreton Street, with extensions to Carver Street and Pope Street. The maintenance works will last for approximately two weeks between the hours of 8am – 6pm.
Access to properties on these roads will be restricted and vehicles should not be parked on the pavements during these hours as they risk being removed by the city council.
