Encouraging business involvement in Refill Birmingham
In March 2019, JQBID staff and Eco Birmingham volunteers visited local businesses encouraging them to sign up to the Refill Birmingham App.
The App allows users to search for local venues where they can fill up their water bottles for free. The scheme aims to reduce waste from plastic water bottles but has the dual benefit of encouraging footfall into businesses.
To date, 24 JQ venues are signed up.
