Cycle to the Jewellery Quarter

Reading Time: < 1 minute

Jewellery Quarter residents and employees are gearing up to celebrate Cycle to Work Day that aims to encourage people to reap the rewards of cycling to work.

Millions of saddles across the country are expected to be dusted off for a two-wheeled commute on September 4th for the national event, championed by multi-gold medal winning Paralympic cyclist, Dame Sarah Storey.

Local businesses are encouraged to support the day too, as they will enjoy the benefits of liberated parking spaces and a happier, fitter and more energised work force.

You can secure your bicycle at the bike rack at the end of Ludgate Hill when arriving into the Quarter, and you won’t feel guilty after scoffing that second piece of cake from Urban Coffee at lunchtime, because you know you’ll be working it off on the way home!
