A-level Success at Abbey College Birmingham

Congratulations are in order for Abbey College Birmingham students and staff who are celebrating an outstanding year of A-level results.

The talented students at the Jewellery Quarter-based college achieved exceptionally high results with 85.6% at A* – C and 25% obtaining A* and A grades. The successful scores bring the overall pass rate up to a staggering 97.7%.

Abbey College Birmingham gives special mention to two exceptional students, Wing Ho and Pa Njie. Wing achieved grades A*, A, A in Maths, Chemistry and Art and will continue her progress by studying Chemical Engineering at  University of Birmingham.

Pa Njie, a member of the British Army who sustained life-changing injuries in Afghanistan, obtained results of A*, C, C in Business, Economics and Accounting will be studying Business Studies at Aston University.

Abbey College Birmingham, based in St Paul’s Square, has a clear focus on subjects leading to opportunities in business, medicine, science and engineering. The college offers GCSE and A-level courses as well as an International Business Foundation Programme.
