KiddiChef – a catering company that specialises in nutritional meals for children – has been shortlisted for a Medilink Healthcare and Business award.
The company, based in Spencer Street, provides children with delicious, nutritionally balanced meals and aims to educate families on the importance of good nutrition and healthy eating. Established in 2012, KiddiChef works with a team of experts including doctors, dieticians and nutrition experts.
Medilink is a national health technology and business support organisation helping companies from concepts through to commercialisation. The organisation works with hundreds of companies within healthcare sectors all across the UK.
The Medilink Healthcare and Business Awards have five categories: Start-up, Innovation, Outstanding Achievement, Partnership with the NHS, and Export Achievement, all of which demonstrate the continued innovation, diversification and sustainability of the West Midlands medical and healthcare sector.
Despite missing out on the award at the ceremony, which took place at Bank Restaurant in Brindley Place, KiddiChef’s co-founders Nicola Davis and Desi Koleva were proud to be shortlisted.
“We are extremely pleased that KiddiChef has been recognised for its efforts to combat obesity by providing a healthy and nutritious catering service to nurseries. Medilink is a fantastic organisation to be recognised by and we are truly honoured to have been nominated and shortlisted by them. Congratulations to Aston Eyetech for winning the Start-up award and getting through to the finals!”
