Warstone Lane in the Jewellery Quarter will be closed on Sunday 5th March from 9am – 7pm for the filming of a TV commercial.

“We have been working closely with the council and the police and they have permitted us to close Warstone Lane from the junction of Spencer Street to the junction of Vyse Street from 9am on Sunday 5th March” comments Location Manager, Tom Fetch, on behalf of film production company Academy in a letter to local Jewellery Quarter businesses.

There will also be a number of trucks, vans and horse boxes positioned adjacent to or on Warstone Lane to service the filming. There will be a large amount of equipment on the street as well, but Academy have assured locals that access will not be blocked to shops that are trading and homes.
