Pen Museum mourns loss of Brian Jones MBE

Like many in the Jewellery Quarter, we were saddened by the news of Brian Jones MBE’s (1936 – 2014) sudden passing on 31st January. Brian was a founder of the Pen Museum and a notable figure in charity and heritage sectors. Our thoughts are with his wife Edna and their family at this difficult time.
The book launch for ‘People, Pens and Production – a book about Birmingham’s steel pen trade’ will still go ahead on 11th February. However, the event will now also be a celebration of Brian’s life and career.
