Now recruiting: JQ BID Events Co-ordinator

Think you’re up for the challenge of working amongst the lively hustle and bustle of Birmingham’s iconic Jewellery Quarter? The JQ BID (Jewellery Quarter Business Improvement District) is on the look out for an Events Co-ordinator to take responsibility for its ever-growing list of exciting events.

 

The BID represents over 500 businesses in the Jewellery Quarter, and its impressive plan is to raise the profile of the quarter and to improve business trade and individual experience for visitors and residents.

 

The role will see you working in the BID’s dynamic office in the heart of Jewellery Quarter, where you will manage a number of large and smaller events including ale tasting, dinners and the Jewellery Quarter’s participation in the Birmingham International Jazz Festival. You will also be responsible for creating a host of new experiences to refresh the current events calendar, and to attract more people to the quarter.

 

The position will be a fixed term contract until 31st August 2017 and will require the candidate to work 21 hours over three days a week at a pro rata salary of £22,000 per annum.
