Due to the Birmingham lockdown commencing 15 September the JQBID has decided to cancel all physical events until further notice. We apologise profusely to any who is disappointed by this news. We are hoping to bring back this event at a future date.
There will be not one but TWO community litter picks tackling the streets of the Jewellery Quarter this September!
Join us on Saturday 19th September for World Clean Up Day and Friday 25th September for the Great British Autumn Clean. Both events kick-off at 12:00 from the Golden Square, B18 6NF. Whether you’re a local business or resident, these events are a great way to get out in the fresh air and do something positive for your community.
All equipment will be provided including gloves, high-visibility vests, bags and litter pickers. Gloves are washed before the event but if you prefer to bring your own feel free. The group will be outdoors but social distancing throughout the walk. As we’ll be hitting the pavement for circa 1-hour sturdy shoes and weather-appropriate clothing are a must!
