Vincent Louis Stokes is a visual artist currently living and working out of the West Midlands, UK.Since January 2023, Vincent has been steadily developing HappyHouse, an ongoing series of pencil drawings that attempt to avowedly document the prosaic happenings within and around his household. Dogmatic in their detail, Vincent’s drawings employ aesthetic devices such as gesture, countenance, symbolism and allegory to consecrate the quiet complexities and seemingly overlooked significance of his domestic environment.
