The Benevolent Society, NAJ Educational Trust and The Silversmiths & Jewellers Charity have joined this year’s NAJ Awards as pillar partners, with vital money being raised for all three charities at the ceremony.
At the 2024 NAJ Awards on 10th October at the Burlington Hotel in Birmingham, the jewellery industry will come together to celebrate excellence throughout the trade. Three important industry charities will also be in attendance, with the Benevolent Society, NAJ Educational Trust and The Silversmiths & Jewellers Charity supporting the three central pillars of the evening, celebrating Great Ideas, Great People and Great Businesses.
Andrew Hinds, NAJ Educational Trust Chair, states,
“The NAJ Educational Trust are delighted to have been invited to be part of the awards. We are especially pleased to be the Great People partner, as our mission is all about helping individuals in our industry to reach their full potential through education and to have the most rewarding career as a result. This mirrors the main reason for the NAJ awards: to celebrate the talented people who contribute so much to our trade.”
Gay Penfold, Benevolent Society Chair, shares,
“The Benevolent Society is celebrating its 100th anniversary this year, and we are delighted to be chosen as the NAJ Awards Great Businesses Pillar charity partner. Our celebrations this centennial year are a testament to the enduring legacy of The Benevolent Society and an opportunity to recognise those who have supported us. We are grateful to the National Association of Jewellers for their dedicated and continuing support of our activities.
“As we look back on the past hundred years, we also plan and look forward to continuing our activities with the valued support of all the wonderful people who make this industry what it is today. With this amazing support, The Benevolent Society will continue to thrive and make a difference for the next century and beyond.”
Antony Vanderpump, The Silversmiths & Jewellers Charity Chair, says,
“We are delighted to be included in such a prestigious event. Collaborating with the NAJ, together with the Benevolent Society and the Educational Trust is a real honour.”
Finally, Ben Massey, NAJ Chief Executive, concludes,
“Charitable support is close to the heart of the NAJ and its members, and we are delighted to welcome three of the trade’s longest-running and most vital charities to join this year’s celebrations and to receive important donations as part of the ceremony. We hope many of those attending the evening will be generous in supporting all three charities.”
