RBSA Annual Exhibition 2024
The RBSA Membership is made up of almost 200 artists whose practices are rooted in a diverse range of media and techniques. Exploring both traditional and contemporary approaches, the RBSA’s Annual Exhibition showcases over 150 artworks, all of which are for sale

Festive Market

Calligraphy Classes
Classes for both beginners and more experienced calligraphers. Learn key elements of calligraphy and take information away to continue developing your style at home. Some materials provided and calligraphy products can be purchased from the Pen Museum shop

J. W. Evans Silver Factory
One of the most complete surviving historic factories in Birmingham’s Jewellery Quarter. To walk into the factory today is to enter a lost industrial world

JQ Ale Trail
The JQ Ale Trail lets you explore the area’s variety of unique pubs and bars, whilst admiring the windows of local jewellers along the way. Grab a group of friends and take your pick of the 20+ pubs in the area, each serving up a range of delicious and local ales

Christmas Candle Painting
If you don’t fancy getting your hands dirty making wreaths or swags, why not try out this Christmas Candle painting workshop! Choose from either a pillar candle or a pair of tapered candles to decorate in festive designs.

Ring Making Classes
Spend the evening in the workshop and make a decorative sterling silver ring to take home at the end of the class. Learn how to shape the metal, heat it up on the hearth, solder it together, file, and finish

Family Days Out
A Christmas Carol
Ebenezer Scrooge, an elderly and wealthy man, is well-known for his miserly ways and unkind spirit.
One Christmas Eve, Scrooge is visited by the ghost of his old business partner, Jacob Marley, who is eager for Scrooge not to share his miserable and eternal fate in the afterlife.

Little Red Riding Hood
Little Red Riding Hood’s Parents, for a little peace and quiet, send their talkative daughter on an errand to take some goodies to her ailing grandmother.
On her journey through the woods – on top of her encounters with the Big Bad Wolf – she bumps into some other colourful fairy tale characters lost in the woods. But, were the heroes from these fairy tales really as innocent as we have all been led to believe?
