During the last month the JQBID team have attended five Freshers Fairs and Welcome events across the Jewellery Quarter, at ACM, UCB, University of Law and the School of Jewellery. This is an important way to help new students get to know the area, and connect them with local businesses.

We gathered student offers and recommendations for them here.

Businesses who are looking to connect with students as potential employees can attend a careers fair or list their roles on job boards.

University of Law
Uni of Law is not just for lawyers. They have a large number of business students seeking part time and full time opportunities. You can list your role here on their Employability portal or email Careers-Birmingham@law.ac.uk for more information. The University of Law Business School are hosting a Careers Fair on 12th December from 11am til 2.30pm.

University College Birmingham

UCB are holding a Careers Fair on 15th November from 10am til 2pm, email employerevents@ucb.ac.uk if you would like to attend. Or create a profile on the hired portal to list a role.
