The Jewellery Quarter hair and make-up artist Alyn Waterman, Birmingham restauranteur Glynn Purnell, and Rosie Ginday founder of Miss Macaroon are just a few of the many speakers attending the UCB Open Day on Saturday 20th January. The complete list of star-studded guest speakers includes YouTubers, celebrity chefs, athletes, bloggers and professional entrepreneurs who will present free talks to students in year 10 and 11 contemplating the next steps in their educational career.
Event organiser Stephanie Galloway said “We thought, how about giving prospective students the chance to hear the first-hand experiences of some of today’s most inspirational people in the sectors we represent?… These fantastic, free-entry talks will run alongside our usual open day presentations and facilities tours”.
