The Jewellery Quarter’s newest residential development has completed this week, with a wellness studio, co-working lounge and a leafy roof terrace with epic city views.
102 luxury apartments are for sale at Setl, the creation of developer HBD, part of Henry Boot. Each home has been designed by award-winning interior design studio, YOUTH, using thoughtful design processes to blend comfort, tranquillity and functionality.
The one and two-bed apartments boast floor to ceiling windows, flooding the space with natural light and boosting the feel-good factor, along with modern kitchens and stylish bathrooms.
The stunning roof garden is a real showstopper – with lush planting and sweeping city views, it’s the perfect spot to enjoy some fresh air and soak up the sun.
In a nod to the creative flair that has become synonymous with the neighbourhood, the development also features a huge 12m x 8m mural by well-known artist, Jo Hicks, known as Hixxy.
Simon Raiye, Director at HBD, said: “We’re thrilled to see Setl open its doors this week; we set out to create something special and we’ve absolutely made that happen. It has been a fantastic redevelopment project, replacing a dilapidated office block with beautiful luxury apartments.
“It has become common to see a range of amenities within rental buildings, but it’s still very unusual to see these types of spaces in developments where homes are owned. The amenity offer at Setl really sets it apart from other schemes in Birmingham.
“With an emphasis on high quality design, community and wellbeing, we have created a best-in-class product and look forward to seeing the first residents move in this summer.”.
HBD is one of the UK’s most active developers, with a growing urban regeneration portfolio across the country. Its best-known residential scheme is Kampus in Manchester; a £250m project that saw the creation of a brand-new neighbourhood at the heart of the city centre.
The developer is also bringing forward a second mixed-use scheme in Birmingham’s Jewellery Quarter, Neighbourhood. With 417 apartments, a new public garden and commercial spaces for a range of independent bars and restaurants, it will be one of the city’s most highly anticipated new developments.
