St Paul’s Summer Fete teams up with JQ Artisan Market

Reading Time: 2 minutes

The St. Paul’s Fete, always a highlight of the summer season in the Jewellery Quarter, will be on Saturday 17th August 2024 and they have teamed up with Birmingham Artisan Markets, this year to bring you the biggest event ever!

This annual community event is hosted by St Paul’s Church as a celebration of all that is best about the Jewellery Quarter and contributes to their ongoing Raise the Roof campaign, to fund £660,000 of urgent repairs needed to keep the Grade I listed jewellers’ church safe into the future.

The Fete will start at 10am and run until 3pm with music and performances curated by Blue Dot Radio, hot and cold drinks by Savva Bars and food from Ottos Pizza, as well as all of the fantastic bars and cafes around the Square. As always there will be church tours throughout the day to learn a bit of history, and a raffle with fantastic prizes to win- including a meal for two at Plates by Purnells, a hair treatment from Hazel and Haydn and a meal from Ottos Pizza. This year there will be even more fun for families with a bouncy castle!

The JQ artisan market brings over 40 stalls of locally made, handcrafted items together, with something for every shopper from cakes to candles, jewellery to jams and so much more. This carefully curated collection of sellers is run by Birmingham Artisan Markets CIC and aims to support local artisans as well as bring the best choice to customers.

This year’s Fete is sponsored by Setl, whose new apartments at 50 Ludgate Hill offer luxury living in the heart of the Jewellery Quarter including stunning views of the city from their roof terrace.

The organisation of the Fete is also supported by JQBID and Hazel and Haydn.
