Places to watch the Euros this summer in the Jewellery Quarter

It’s that time again, the Euros are back, and The Jewellery Quarter is the place to be! We have plenty of amazing venues showing the games this summer, from cosy pubs to trendy sports bars, there is a place for everyone to get in on the action.
Here are all the venues in the JQ where you can catch the games – with the first one kicking off on Friday 14th June and the first England game on Sunday 16th June.
The Shakespeare Inn
The Shakespeare Inn on Summer Row is a great place to watch the Euros. Watch the action on the HD screens of this cosy Victorian pub. Make sure to book a table so you don’t miss out on the classic pub food and chilled drink packages.
The Pig and Tail
This small, relaxed bar with a secret courtyard area will be serving a range of craft beers, wines, cocktails & mocktails as well as a section of small plates and snacks. We recommend contacting them if your party is 6 or more to make sure you get a table.
The Red Lion
Situated in the heart of the Jewellery Quarter on Warstone Lane; The Red Lion is a traditional pub, rich in both local heritage and modern art. Tuck into a pint and some award-winning food while you watch the games this summer.
The Wolf
A modern and stylish bar known for their wide selection of craft beers, as well as a menu of small plates and sharing platters, plus their famous Sunday roasts. It’s the perfect spot for a group of friends to enjoy the Euros in style.
The Rolling Mill
Set in a relaxed, family environment, this destination is a ‘one-stop venue’ for all. They have four amazing spaces designed for dining & socializing which includes a dedicated sports bar with interactive darts. With 4 big screen TVs and an amazing selection of beers on tap, you’ll never miss a moment of the action.
The Church Pub
Known for its roof-top terrace complete with its own bar, The Church is another great option for watching the Euros. Use online booking to secure your table and app ordering so you never miss a goal! Treat yourself to their “must try” peerless scotch egg alongside one of their many cask ales and beers. They also offer a range of modern British food taking influence from pub classics.
The Barrel Store
Run by Attic Brewery, the Barrel Store is not just a space crafting barrel aged beer, it’s also a lively bar for drinking them in. The pizza oven will keep you fed whilst you sample some of the many brews on offer and watch the football.
Hen and Chickens
A popular desi pub in the heart of the Jewellery Quarter will be showing the games this summer so if you fancy something different, why don’t you go and enjoy their flavoursome dishes and beer on tap. This trendy and spacious bar will have several large tv screens making it the ideal place to enjoy the football.
The Button Factory
Another great option is the Button Factory. This trendy bar, located on Frederick Street, has multiple TVs throughout both floors of the bar as well as a huge pull-down projector. If you feel like splashing that extra bit of cash, book one of their VIP tables to get the best seat in the house as well as 6 arrival drinks, a choice of either Peroni or Sol, or even a glass of prosecco.
The Rectory
The Rectory is a stylish, modern venue with leather booths and stunning chandeliers. It is also home to the 180 Club – Birmingham’s underground darts bar. Be sure to book a table so you don’t miss out on all the delicious food, drinks and of course, the football.
Actress and Bishop
Known for its live music, stand-up and open mic nights, the Actress and Bishop is another great spot to catch the games. The atmosphere is a lively and welcoming one and they have a wide selection of beers and ciders on tap, plus an exciting cocktail menu.
The Rose Villa Tavern
The Rose Villa Tavern is a Jewellery Quarter Institution. This listed pub is full of original features, unique charm and offers a cosy and welcoming atmosphere, perfect for watching the Euros. Serving delicious food and refreshing drinks, no matter the score, you won’t leave here disappointed.
Somewhere in Brum
The Jewellery Quarter’s best kept secret, tucked away in a cosy wine seller setting. Don’t miss out on the authentic Indian Street Food by Notty Bites and get spoiled by the 14 rotating craft beer taps. They have offers and events every day of the week so no matter what day you go, there is something for everyone.
JQ Bar and Grill
The JQ’s trendiest Sports Bar, where comfort, sport and the best Indian cooking come together. With big screens everywhere you look, you won’t miss any of the action. Watch the games while tucking into their huge menu of Indian delicacies before washing it down with a pint or two.
The Jewellers Arms
If you like traditional pubs, then you’ll like it here. This historic pub in the heart of the Jewellery Quarter has everything you need from cosy open fires to twelve hand pulls of proper ale and don’t forget the tasty pub snacks. This proper JQ icon and winner of 2 ‘CAMRA Good Beer Guide’ awards will make you feel right at home as you settle down to watch the football this summer.
1000 Trades
This independent bar and kitchen will be putting up two big screens just in time for the Euros. All games will be shown in the Loft with any big games also being shown downstairs. Sit back and relax while you choose from four real ales, seven craft beers, eleven natural wines on tap and they even have guest chefs in to prepare you the most amazing food. Their soundtrack is prepared in partnership with Birmingham’s music community and there’s local artwork showcased on the walls too.
Indian Brewery Taproom
Looking ahead to the final, this brand new brewery location will be open just in time for the Euros final. Situated in an iconic building, a massive beer hall will feature an extensive number of beer taps, a games area and theatre kitchen where all the live sports will be played on the big screen. You can kick back to watch all the football while being served amazing food, all with an even more amazing view of the brewery.

The Queens Arms
The Queens Arms is a great British pub at the heart of the Birmingham community. They have exciting beer, cider & ale brands on tap, poured perfectly every time. They also have a fantastic wine list including fizz and seasonal cocktails. If football isn’t your thing, they are offering a free pint to everyone from the 14th June!
