Digital studio adaptable is giving a helping hand to small charities across the UK that have been impacted by the coronavirus pandemic by creating a new donations platform – Givable.
The new platform provides an effortless donation experience for donors, which features the latest in payment processing technology along with a bespoke reporting dashboard for the charity to monitor donations.
The adaptable team prototyped, designed, built and tested Givable during five weeks of remote working during lockdown.
Aware of how the charity and fundraising sectors are being affected by the coronavirus pandemic, Birmingham Jewellery Quarter-based adaptable decided that any charity who wishes to use Givable as their new donations platform can do so with a small set-up fee and no subscription fees for six months if signed up before the end of June 2020.
Givable can bolt onto any existing charity or voluntary organisation website and, powered by Stripe, the platform is able to accept one off or recurring debit/credit card payments along with Apple Pay, Google Pay and Paypal, giving donors a variety of quick payment options.
The website features a proven four-step ‘funnel’: A clear and simple experience consisting of the donation amount, donor details with address look-up, Gift Aid opt-in and payment details with multiple payment methods.
The Givable user interface can be styled to sit in line with any charity’s logo and brand by setting the colour palette, typography and tone of voice.
adaptable was founded in 2013 by Dan Cooper and Olly Sorsby. The studio’s mission is focused on creating experiences that work, for the people who matter. The company has a range of expertise spanning charity, property, retail, leisure and corporate with clients including Mayhew, Liberty Steel Group, Mailbox, National Express and St. Philips Homes.
Founder Dan Cooper said:
“As a studio, the last few weeks have got us thinking how we could help our existing clients in the charity and voluntary sectors, along with helping other charities at a national level.
“With the economy currently taking a hit due to Covid-19 we wanted to create a tool for charities both small and large to help them provide a best in class giving experience to help encourage donors to give now in these uncertain times more than ever.”
