Gulp Announces Taste the JQ

GULP presents the first Afternoon Tea dedicated to celebrating the idiosyncrasies of Birmingham’s historic Jewellery Quarter.

‘Taste the JQ’ is a unique experience inspired by the Jewellery Quarter – this Afternoon Tea meets Tasting Experience is an edible reimagining of the neighbourhood in a celebration of a
selection of its key locations, hidden gems and overlooked details.
Presented in Gulp’s 10-seater dining room, this event is a jewel of a treat for couples or
small groups, who will be seated around a communal table in a convivial event that is
sure to delight.
This event has been carefully crafted in response to a walk around the Jewellery Quarter. Following this edible journey at Gulp, a map of the route will be available to guests who – if they decide to – can walk off
their food and experience the visual references at play in the menu.

Founded by Sensory Artist Kaye Winwood, Gulp is an artistic dining room nestled in a stunning Grade II listed building in the heart of Birmingham’s Jewellery Quarter. Gulp is a meeting, learning and eating space for curious appetites with a desire for the extraordinary.
