Graduate Show at the School of Jewellery

Graduates from the School of Jewellery will be showcasing their hard work at the Graduate Show next month.

The exhibitions will be open to the public from Monday 9th to Friday 13th June in the School Exhibition Hall and Atrium.

Visitors will be treated to displays from graduates specialising in various disciplines such as jewellery, silversmithing, horology and gemmology. Some of the pieces showcased will also be for sale and students will be available to discuss the creation of bespoke pieces, so make sure you take a pretty penny or two!

Alongside the exhibitions, there will be an industry evening taking place on Tuesday 10th June. The school will be welcoming leading figures from the jewellery industry to celebrate the achievements of the graduating students by presenting awards and prizes. Helen Dimmick is this year’s guest speaker and will be encouraging the graduates in their pursuit to find employment as emerging designer makers.

The School of Jewellery will also be hosting an open day on Saturday 14th June. The university will be welcoming anybody who has an interest in studying the art of jewellery making and potential applicants will be able to explore the range of facilities and courses available at the largest jewellery school in Europe.

The Graduate Show will be open at 10am – 6pm from Monday 9th to Friday 13th June.

On Saturday 14th the School of Jewellery will be open from 10am – 3pm for Open Day. The Graduate Show will still be open and welcoming visitors, however is expected to get busy.
