Since 1965, GH Moore & Son has been proudly crafting fine jewellery in the heart of Birmingham’s Jewellery Quarter. Founded by George Moore with a vision to offer high-quality jewellery at affordable prices, this commitment to craftsmanship and value remains at the core of everything we do, six decades later.

After 30 years working from a small workshop, George expanded the business by opening our shop at 19 Vyse Street — where we still proudly serve our customers today. Now enjoying a well-earned retirement, George has passed the reins to his son Darren and daughter-in-law Adele, who continue to uphold the family tradition.

From its humble beginnings in the early 1990s, the business has grown and now offers a wide range of services, including CAD design, mounting, setting, finishing, and engraving. We also specialise in Titanium and Zirconium rings, mourning jewellery, pattern-cut rings, as well as expert jewellery repair and restoration.

Recently, our jeweller Darren was honoured as a finalist for the National Association of Jewellers Award 2024, recognising his exceptional skill. Our front-of-house retail team has also been shortlisted for the Retail Jeweller Award for Retail Team of the Year 2025 — a testament to their dedication and customer care.

We are deeply grateful for 60 wonderful years, made possible by the unwavering support of our loyal customers, colleagues in the jewellery trade, and our extended GH Moore family. We look forward to continuing to serve the community with the same quality and care for the next 60 years and beyond.
