The National Association of Jewellers (NAJ) has announced the final category sponsors joining this year’s NAJ Awards celebrations.
Seven businesses from across the jewellery trade have joined the 2024 NAJ Awards, including eBay as category sponsors for both Collection of the Year and Service Supplier of the Year. Presman Mastermelt supports Unsung Hero of the Year, Jewellery Show champion Product Supplier of the Year, GVUK Design sponsor Bespoke Retailer of the Year, Aconia Casting celebrate Community Engagement of the Year, SaferGems support Salesperson of the Year, and Apsley & Heron have joined as Store Design of the Year sponsors.
The new sponsors join headline sponsor Curteis and fellow category supporters TH March, RWK Goodman, At The Bench, Vulcan Jewellery, British Academy of Jewellery and Responsible Jewellery Council.
Ines Morais, Category Manager for Jewellery at Ebay, shared,
“eBay is proud to sponsor the Collection of the Year Award and Service Supplier of the Year Award at the 2024 edition of the NAJ Awards in Birmingham. These awards highlight the remarkable talent and dedication within the jewellery industry, and eBay is thrilled to support and celebrate these outstanding achievements.”
Gary Williams, General Manager of Presman Mastermelt, said,
“In every business, there are individuals doing an amazing job in the background. They make enormous contributions to their company’s success but never get the recognition they deserve, which is why Presman Mastermelt has chosen to sponsor this award and shine a spotlight on one of these incredible people.”
Graham Dicks, GVUK Designs Director, stated,
“GVUK Design is proud to sponsor the NAJ award for Bespoke Retailer of the Year. Our commitment to providing cutting-edge technology for bespoke jewellers exemplifies the ultimate synergy between GVUK Design and the finest in bespoke jewellery craftsmanship.”
Event Director of the Jewellery Show, Lennox Addo, said,
“Sponsoring the Product of the Year category is a fantastic opportunity to align the Jewellery Show brand with the innovation and excellence that define our industry. It offers unparalleled visibility and the chance to celebrate the very best in product design and craftsmanship.”
Nick Chroussis from Apsley & Heron shared,
“We are proud to sponsor Store Design of the Year because we believe physical stores provide an irreplaceable shopping experience, especially when choosing something as personal as our products. A beautiful display does more than showcase products with style; it elevates them, creating the perfect environment for great products to reach their full potential.
“We also recognise the importance of high streets and the positive impact a thoughtfully designed shopfront can have on the local community. By championing this category, we support retailers who understand that a striking storefront isn’t just about selling—it’s about creating an unforgettable experience.”
Harry McCabe, Director of Aconia Casting, stated,
“We are proud to present the Community Engagement of the Year award. The award recognises companies’ commitment to helping their local community thrive. The positive impact that a successful business can have on the community is often not fully recognised.”
Chief Executive of the NAJ, Ben Massey, concluded,
“It’s so great to see such a diverse range of businesses coming together to support this year’s NAJ Awards. We are excited to share the celebrations with our fantastic sponsors, and we can’t wait to welcome members and guests on 10th October to reveal the winners.”
The 2024 NAJ Awards will take place on Thursday, 10th October at the Burlington Hotel, Birmingham.
