The Jam House is pleased to welcome back the BLOCKHEADS in tonight’s “one night only” showBLOCKHEADS were the musical powerhouse behind Ian Dury’s most productive and successful periods, with chart hits including “Sex and Drugs and Rock ‘n’ Roll”, “Reasons To Be Cheerful”, and “Hit Me With Your Rhythm Stick”, as well as a multitude of memorable album tracks.The band stayed together after Ian’s death and – 25 years on – are still performing around the world and recording new material.Blockheads band member, Chaz Jankel, co-wrote many of the biggest tracks with Dury, and remains with the band, alongside Micky Gallagher, keyboard player.
