The National Association of Jewellers (NAJ) is delighted to announce the dates for this year’s NAJ Summit – the Association’s annual conference bringing all sectors of membership and the wider trade together to network and learn.

The 2024 NAJ Summit will take place from 22 to 24 June at the Park Regis Hotel, Birmingham, providing an accessible and modern venue for attendees.

The extended weekend will once again feature the Valuers’ Conference hosted by the Institute of Registered Valuers and the Retail Jeweller’s Congress hosted by the JET Business Network, creating an unmissable three days of connecting with peers and knowledge-sharing.

The NAJ received overwhelmingly positive feedback on last year’s format refinements, meaning the structure will remain for 2024, albeit with welcome comfort breaks after each speaker to digest and discuss what has been shared.

The Valuers’ Conference

The Valuers’ Conference prides itself on being a friendly and welcoming event for all, regardless of experience.

The first day of the Valuers’ Conference will feature seven informative keynote talks delivered by a diverse range of internationally renowned experts. On the second day of the conference, attendees can participate in smaller, more specialised workshops and masterclasses, where they can gain practical, hands-on knowledge.

Following the main presentations on Saturday, guests can attend the Valuers’ Conference BBQ – an informal gathering at the Park Regis’ 1565 bar and outdoor terrace where attendees can catch up with old friends and connect with new ones.

The Retail Jewellers’ Congress

On Monday, 24 June, the Retail Jeweller’s Congress hosted by the JET Business Network celebrates its 15th year, bringing together the JBN community and other jewellery retailers for a series of talks, panel discussions and exercises designed to help take your business further.

This one-day event continues the year-round mission of the JBN to deliver value through shared knowledge and experience. It enables business leaders to benchmark their business against other retail jewellery businesses while absorbing new ideas and ways of working through guest speakers and targeted group activities.

Each year, members of the JBN choose the theme of Congress that they deem is most important to them, helping ensure the event remains up-to-date and relevant to the retail jewellery community.

The NAJ Awards return in October

With the NAJ Awards growing year-on-year, the NAJ has chosen to host a standalone event on Thursday, 10 October. This will ensure the NAJ can deliver a truly memorable event that champions professional excellence throughout the trade.

The NAJ is excited to see the Association’s annual awards enjoy dedicated time in the jewellery calendar and look forward to revealing more later in the year.

NAJ Chief Executive Ben Massey shares,

“The Summit has become a much-anticipated date in many of our members’ diaries. Everyone at the NAJ is driven to ensure attendees get the best possible experience, not just from the world-renowned speakers but also down to the event’s format and registration process. We have continued to refine every element of the event, so whether just visiting for the day or staying the whole weekend, we want to ensure the NAJ Summit is an unmissable date in the jewellery calendar.”
