THE SHOPPING QUARTER
No matter what gift you are looking for – you’ll find something special here in the JQ… after all it’s what our area is famous for! Our streets are brimming with retailers and studios selling everything from unique antique jewels to bespoke handcrafted pieces, with both traditional and contemporary styles aplenty. Discover something to treasure forever.
Bespoke gifts can be commissioned on site with huge savings on high street prices – whether you’re looking for engagement rings or earrings. As the home of over 150 independent specialist retailers and craftspeople, the area is a fantastic place to explore. Nestled in amongst these businesses is also the Quarter’s non-jewellery independents ranging from drinks merchants, florists, chocolatiers and home furnishings and decor.

The timing is perfect for visitors seeking to buy Christmas gifts with a quirky edge.
A visit to Open Studios could also coincide with a browse around the many retailers located on Vyse Street and Warstone Lane. As the home of over 150 independent specialist retailers and craftspeople, the area is a fantastic place to explore.
