Meet Kerrie Henry-Edge, the new fundraising officer for Birmingham Mind.

Birmingham Mind is an independent mental health charity with their head office based in the Jewellery Quarter.

Birmingham Mind provide mental health support, services and advice to the people of Birmingham and beyond and are celebrating their 60th anniversary this year.

Working in active partnership with the NHS and other local organisations, the charity delivers mental health services and helps to challenge the stigma that surrounds mental health.

Birmingham Mind’s services help to support people in various ways such as; Supported Housing, Residential Care, Wellbeing Hubs, Talking Spaces and our dedicated Mental Health Helpline.

The Helpline operates 24/7 and is available to all residents in Birmingham & Solihull. It provides advice and information to people experiencing mental health difficulties as well as people calling if they are worried about a friend, colleague or family member. The Helpline currently receives about 450 calls and 90 online web chats each week. For further information; please visit our website https://birminghammind.org/services/

Kerrie has been in her role for just over 4 months and is really enjoying getting out and about to meet new people and talk to them about Birmingham Mind. If you would like to speak with Kerrie about how your business can support Birmingham Mind or how they can support your business, get in touch with her at fundraising@birminghammind.org she would love to hear from you!
