BID Gears up for Quarter Lifestyle Event
Reading Time: < 1 minute
Following on from the success of last years Lifestyle event, the BID has brought it back and it promises to be bigger and better. A select number of retailers and designers from across the quarter will be demonstrating that you don’t need to shop central to get all your jewellery, gifts, art or vintage clothing.
The event has been created to encourage people to view the Jewellery Quarter as a shopping and leisure destination and not just a place to buy your engagement ring. “The Quarter has so much more to offer,” Luke, BID manager comments. “It’s a quirky place with an abundance of bespoke and designer jewellery, giftware, ceramics; furniture and vintage clothing, even a connoissuer whisky merchant; and that’s just brushing the surface!”
“There is so much on offer which people just don’t realise is available, we want to change that. We want people to take advantage of the hairdressers, beauticians and leisure facilities; to have a drink in one of the many local bars, or lunch at a restuarant, to make it less of a visit and more of a proper day out.”
The event will be hosted at the Brasserie suite at UCB, with canapés provided by the College and wine to welcome exhibitors and guests alike.
