The National Association of Jewellers (NAJ) has announced the launch of the 2024 NAJ Chair’s Award, which recognises the outstanding contribution of an individual or business within the jewellery industry.

Supported once again by returning sponsor Presman Mastermelt, the 2024 NAJ Chair’s Award will be presented at the Benevolent Society Christmas Ball, hosted at the Grand Hotel Birmingham on Thursday, 5th December.

Last year’s recipient was high street retailer Beaverbrooks, celebrated for its unwavering commitment to staff, values, and the communities it serves. The Award continues to honour a person or business for their dedication and service to the jewellery trade.

NAJ Chair Adam Jacobs, announcing the launch, commented,

“As the trade association representing the whole of the UK jewellery sector, it’s a privilege to be acknowledging the exceptional contributions of those who have continually helped shape and support our incredible industry over many years. I look forward to reading the nominations and awarding this prestigious honour in December.”

NAJ members are encouraged to submit recommendations for the Chair’s Award by Friday, 15th November. Following the deadline, an independent judging panel will review all submissions.
