JQ Life Magazine Goes Digital In Response to COVID-19

Reading Time: 2 minutes

The Jewellery Quarter Business Improvement District (JQBID) is adapting to the COVID-19 way of life, by transforming the next issue of their JQ Life Magazine into a purely digital offer, ensuring support for the business community is continued to be shared far and wide without any physical contact!

Issue 9 of JQ Life will focus solely on the Jewellery Quarter community and will shine the light on enterprises and individuals coming up with creative solutions in the wake of the global pandemic. The JQBID and magazine editorial team at Digital Glue have issued a call-out for local Jewellery Quarter businesses to get involved and share their stories of business resilience and community engagement across the area. Steve Lovell, Communications & Marketing Manager at the JQBID said:

“We quickly realised as we sat down to plan the next issue of JQ Life that we couldn’t approach it with the mindset of business as usual. Every aspect of our work, home and social life has been affected by the impact of this pandemic and we needed to be responsive and adapt our offer accordingly. That’s why we have taken the decision to adjust not only the content of the magazine but also the format. We want to highlight the amazing JQ community of businesses and residents who are continuing to show amazing resilience through these difficult times and are coming together to support each other.”

Greta Geoghegan, editor of JQ Life and Head of PR and Communications at Digital Glue, added:

“The JQ has a wonderful sense of community and during these challenging times, it’s more important than ever that we highlight and celebrate that. Everyone could do with some positivity at the moment and that’s exactly what we want to achieve with this special edition of JQ Life.”

If you are a Jewellery Quarter resident, business or customer and want to find out how you can get involved then contact the JQ Life editorial time via jqlife@digitalglue.agency.
