JQ Festival 2020 cancelled
Reading Time: < 1 minute
It is with a heavy heart that we have decided to cancel this year’s JQ Festival. The health and well-being of the community must always come first – and with the extraordinary situation regarding COVID-19, we have unfortunately been left with no choice other than cancelling this year’s festivities.
We understand that the scheduled date of June 20 is still three months away, and we very much hope that the current situation will have improved enormously by then. However, in order to deliver our largest project, the next three months would have required a substantial amount of time meeting with suppliers and partners as well as the delivery of a large scale marketing campaign.
It is these reasons coupled with the unknown length of time of ‘Social Distancing’, that we have made the decision to cancel this year’s JQ Festival.
We are currently making contact with all suppliers and partners that we’ve been working with ahead of the Festival, but if there are any urgent enquiries or questions, please get in touch with us via email: info@jqdt.org or phone: 0121 233 2814.
We were all very excited to welcome you all to what was becoming our most exciting Festival to date, but we hope that you understand that this decision was unfortunately taken out of our hands.
Our focus must now turn to our business community and our fight to ensure that the Jewellery Quarter remains a vibrant hive of activity for when COVID-19 decides to leave us.
