As the diggers moved in this week to commence work on the Golden Square, already people are talking about the development and what it will look like when it’s completed in mid-October this year.

Throughout the development period we will be bringing you the latest updates on what is happening with Golden Square and what you can expect to see.

With Phase 1 of the project in motion, this week saw general site clearance and topsoil stripping on the former Big Peg car park site. Work has also begun on preparing for the new drainage system which will be installed in the foundations.
