The contract for the delivery of the Golden Square public realm project in the heart of the Jewellery Quarter has been awarded to Balfour Beatty.  This important development will be delivered over the next eight months with an anticipated completion date of early October 2014.

Golden Square will provide a high quality space for local residents and visitors with the opportunity for events throughout the year.

Local businesses directly adjacent to the construction site have been advised that site preparation is about to start and that they will be kept advised of progress throughout the construction period.

The JQ BID is working closely with Birmingham City Council to ensure people are informed of progress throughout the build contract.
