Where to watch the Premier League in the Jewellery Quarter

The 2024-25 Premier League season will start on Friday 16th August and here are the places in the JQ where you can watch the games.

The Shakespeare Inn on Summer Row

Step in to discover a traditional pub of unique character, revered for its eclectic range of real ales and its quality pub food. Watch the action on the HD screens of this cosy Victorian pub while tucking into one of their famous pies and washing it down with some good cask ale.

Hen and Chickens

Want to step away from the classic pub food but still want the atmosphere that comes with it? Hen and Chickens is a casual gastro pub serving up delicious and traditional Indian cuisine. You can catch the games on their large TV screens spread across 3 different rooms.

The Rolling Mill

The Rolling mill have a dedicated bar solely for the purpose of live sports, and with a capacity of 40 plus, Sky Sports/TNT, 4 big-screen TVs, and an amazing selection of beers-on-tap, you’ll never miss a moment of the action. They also do an amazing Sunday Roast so if you are catching a Sunday game, be sure to try it!

Rose Villa Tavern

An old Victorian pub with stunning stained glass windows based in the heart of the Jewellery Quarter. Behind the bar, they stock an explorative selection of beer, cider, wine and cocktails as well as a great choice of low or no alcohol options. They also have a delicious menu with lots of small plates, perfect for a group to share while watching the footy.

The Wolf

This chill, rustic outpost is serving toasted sandwiches, pies & small plates, plus tap & bottled beers. Don’t miss out on their “Bottemless Brum” offer too, for £35pp you can bag yourself a toastie or pie, dessert and as many bottomless pints (from their permanent lines), Prosecco, Mimosas or Schofferol Spritzes – all in a 90 minute sitting!

The Red Lion

A Victorian pub jazzed up with modern art, large screens for all you footie fans and hearty pub meals. The Red Lion offers a growing cellar of premium and European lagers as well as local draft ales with special guest ales brought in every week to offer ale lovers something different. Other features at The Red Lion include the stylish and spacious clubroom with a TV and a dedicated space for its own bar.

JQ Bar and Grill

The JQ bar and Grill is a Sport’s Bar dedicated to serving tasty Indian food made with the finest ingredients. Experience live sports on their large screens while sipping on your favourite tipple.

Indian Brewery Taproom

Expected to open late August/early September, the Indian Brewery Taproom boasts a massive beer hall, amazing food and delicious craft beer.
