Vacancies for non-Executive positions on the RBSA Advisory Committee

Reading Time: < 1 minute

The RBSA is an artists cooperative having charitable status whose affairs are managed by a Council elected from the membership at the Society’s AGM. The Council has created an Advisory Committee whose purpose is to provide advice on all the non-artistic aspects of the Society.

These include all aspects of its finances, the staff it employs and the gallery building itself which it owns. The Society’s Officers are ex-officio on the Committee and we have appointed three ‘non-executive’ members for a 3 year term with experience in the fields of law, finance and education. The Committee meets 4 times a year on a Monday. We are seeking to appoint at least two more no-execs with building-related, fund-raising or PR skills to strengthen the Committee.

We would be very happy to talk informally to potential candidates about their involvement. We will be looking to make appointments at the end of the year and would appreciate expressions of interest by the end of November 2015. In return for your involvement you would be a very welcome guest at all our Private Views and other events and become a part of an important vibrant artistic organisation. Please email viv astling, honorary secretary on hon.secretary@rbsa.org.uk
