Birmingham-based global training company, OTD, has been awarded We invest in people, platinum accreditation by Investors in People (IIP).
The accolade is recognition for OTD’s outstanding workplace culture and demonstrates that its policies and practices around supporting people are embedded in every corner of the business.
We invest in people accreditation has been developed and refined over nearly 30 years to help companies, leaders and employees work together to create better, more productive workplaces.
Platinum accreditation is the highest award that can be achieved against the internationally-renowned IIP standard and is held by just 2% of IIP’s community of 15,000 organisations.
OTD secured platinum status following a rigorous assessment process, which analysed areas including leadership and management, values and behaviours, and business culture.
Assessors praised the company for its approachable and supportive leadership style, clear employee objectives, innovative use of technology and an effective wellbeing structure, which is regularly reviewed and communicated.
Andy Crotty, joint managing director at OTD, said: “We are incredibly proud to have been awarded platinum accreditation. It is recognition for the role that everyone at OTD plays in maintaining a positive, inclusive and dynamic workplace, where our people continually strive to find ways to improve.
“OTD’s core values are centred on inspiring people through transformative coaching and training journeys. We believe that can only be achieved if we have an amazing place for our own team to work, which is why we invest time and resources into everything from health and wellbeing initiatives, to providing ongoing learning and development opportunities.”
Paul Devoy, CEO of Investors in People, said: “We’d like to congratulate OTD. Platinum accreditation on We invest in people is a remarkable effort for any organisation, and places OTD in fine company with a host of organisations that understand the value of people.”
OTD has gained a reputation for designing and delivering life-changing leadership and development coaching programmes on behalf of global blue-chip companies and UK-based SMEs. It employs a core team in Birmingham with more than 120 associate business coaches operating worldwide.
