You’ll also discover some of the lesser-known gems of the Studio Ghibli catalogue, like Porco Rosso, Howl’s Moving Castle and The Wind Rises.Join Melodia, a piano recital concert series, as they pay homage to the legendary films, relive the iconic scenes and characters of Studio Ghibli with this intimate live performance.Whether you’re a fan of the Japanese animation studio or a lover of beautiful piano music, this is an event you don’t want to miss for all ages.Nicolas HorvathNicolas Horvath, a Monaco-trained pianist, secured a 3-year scholarship from the Princess Grace Foundation at 16, mentored by conductor Lawrence Foster. Influenced by renowned pianists like Gelber and Frémy, he’s a specialist in Liszt, known for rediscovering forgotten composers. Horvath collaborates globally, commissioning works from notable composers like Riley, Cosma, and Lucier.His remarkable feats include a 12-hour non-stop performance of Philip Glass, the complete Klavierstücke by Stockhausen, and a crowd-attracting Satie’s piano works at Philharmonie de Paris. Passionate about contemporary music, Horvath stands out as a bold explorer and performer.
