Tour dates below. Tøkio will be performing his new solo classical album featuring an array of beautiful and reflective piecesof original music inspired by the birth of his first daughter. Tokio will also include stripped backarrangements of his most popular works; released & unreleased. For the first time ever, Tøkio will be adding selections of traditional classical music to this tour -showcasing not only his technical prowess, but also inviting you to experience which artists inspired &influenced the TØKIO M¥ERS we all love and know today. “If I hadn’t gone to dark places in life and explored as much as possible the extremities of music, then Icould’ve never understood how beautiful & perfect simple music is – I’ve learnt after all these years thatmy training and experimenting were essential, in order for me to finally understand, appreciate, and trulyfeel how to play the most simplest of pieces – it feels like an awakening.”, says Tøkio. ABOUT TOKIO MYERS:- After capturing the nation as Winner of Britain’s Got Talent in 2017, TØKIO M¥ERS was dubbed a ‘RisingStar’ by Simon Cowell. His sense of originality and musicianship garnered immense praise from both thejudges and public, subsequently earning him a record deal with Syco Entertainment.- Tokio went on to reach top 5 status in the UK official album charts with his debut cinematic album ‘OurGeneration’, the only pianist ever to achieve this feat.- The album went gold, selling over 100,000 copies in the UK alone.- He has become one of the most innovative artists of today, creating his own unique artistic lane. Hisalchemist approach to writing and performing classical & contemporary music is what sets Tøkio apartfrom his peers. Drawing on his life experiences, Tokio and turns them into cleverly constructedcompositions, which seamlessly integrates music from the past and present. Since his success, Tøkio has performed sold out UK and Ireland Tours in the UK & Ireland including theiconic London ‘Printworks’ venue for his ‘Our Generation’ tour. He has performed twice at the London’s legendary Royal Albert Hall, supported by none other than theRoyal Philharmonic Orchestra for Classic FM Live.As a Classic Brit Award Winner for PPL’s Breakthrough ‘Artist of the Year’ he has co-produced the ‘Artistsfor Grenfell’ charity single in support of The London Community Foundation. He has performed to asellout audience at MGM Grand Arena in Las Vegas, and performed at the Fifa Fan Festival for the WorldCup in Qatar 2022 with 60,000 attendees in total. More recently he has received critical acclaim, collaborating with Jaeger Le Coultre as part of the ‘Madeof Makers’ programme – which led to Tøkio featuring in Vogue Hong Kong, GQ Japan, New York Times,Culture L.A, as well as seeing him perform in Shanghai China, Los Angeles U.S, & London U.K. Lastly, it gives us great pleasure to announce that TØKIO M¥ERS will also be releasing a series ofproduction albums, “a trilogy” Tøkio says, towards the end of 2024 into 2025 – these albums will featurepiano, gospel choir, orchestra and more as a continuation from his debut album ‘Our Generation’.
