Local beer fans were given the chance to have their say on the taste of the Jewellery Quarter’s new beer on Sunday. It was a great turn out with over sixty people attending the beer tasting event at The Rose Villa Tavern.

Guests were each given seven different beers to try and then vote for their preference. There are currently two clear favourites with the overall winner being announced shortly. Members of the Two Towers Brewery, who will be brewing the Jewellery Quarter’s beer were on-hand throughout the event to offer information and fun facts about each beer.

And here’s a fun fact of our own, with 62 people attending the event each tasting seven beers, a total of 144 pints were gulped down on Sunday!

But don’t worry if you weren’t able to attend the fun-filled event, you can still get involved by suggesting a name for our new beer. The competition has been extended and will be closing on 18^th April, so get your entries in quick! Click here to find out more.
