The Bushido Academy of Martial Arts was founded in 1979 by experienced British Martial Artist Pete Delane. Bushido Birmingham Martial Arts dojo [training hall] is a place where students “study and grow” rather than just “train”, with a distinct emphasis on improving the individual in the artsand creating an environment that lets the arts improve the individual. They offer classes in British Bushido Karate, Aikido-Te, Weapons, Ken Kai Ryu, security psychology and modern living Zen. Training can be carried out in a whole range of environments, from small classes to national seminars, weekend courses and grading. There is also the opportunity to move up to the prestigious Sensei Academy for advanced students.
