The Queens Arms Pub Quiz on Sky One

Sky’s the limit for The Queens Arms pub as it features in a new show on Sky One starting this Friday (27th) at 10pm.
For this traditional pub on Newhall Street, it was “hardly a surprise” as their quiz has already been described as “the best quiz in Birmingham”. The Queens Arms combines traditional pub values in a richly aesthetic building with a modern twist, making it a quirky hotspot and gateway to the delightfully idiosyncratic Jewellery Quarter.
Quiz Nights is a new series for Sky One showcasing the Great British quiz night in all its quirky majesty – pints, pig snacks ‘n’ all. Each episode features four different teams in four pubs across the country playing the same quiz simultaneously making this a hybrid of part quiz show, part documentary. Sky has scoured the country to find the height of pub quizity (that’s definitely a word) and The Queens Arms was agreed to be amongst the very best.
The pub will feature in three episodes starting on Friday at 10pm, but it isn’t over when the cameras stop rolling. You can catch the regular Quiz at Queens every Thursday from 8:30pm.
