The Jam House

The Jam House opened on 23 April 1999 featuring TV presenter and pianist Mr Jools Holland. The Jools Holland big band rocked the place on the opening night and continues to make occasional appearances at this exciting and unique venue.

Located in the heart of the historic Jewellerey Quarter, Birmingham the Jam House occupies a traditional Georgian building in the picturesque St Paul’s Square, with seating spread over three stylish yet informal airy floors, boasting a capacity for up to 600 people. The JamHouse is a landmark venue offering music to feed your soul and music to entertain your taste. Live entertainment is available Tuesday – Saturday and, in the words of  Jools Holland, offers ‘a broad church of music styles’ including guitar soaked  rock anthems, big funky soul numbers, swing,  jazz, reggae and blues to name but a few.

For dinner, freshly cooked international cuisine is served in the top floor restaurant, which seats over 80 people with a superb view of the stage. Head chef Ian Carter bring his imaginative international flavor to The Jam House with dishes such as:

Fillet of Bream, Bouillabaisse Sauce, Clams, Potatoes, Fennel

Braised Veal Cheeks, Creamed Potatoes, Caraway & Parsley Carrots,Curley Kale, Reduction of Cooking Liquor Roast Pork Chop, Black Pudding & Apple Pithivier, Spinach, Lentils & Bacon.

The Jam House caters for all party types and sizes – buffet and set menus are available for party bookings and corporate events.

The atmosphere of the Jam House experience is relaxed, non-pretentious and female friendly. The staff at the bar, in the kitchen and on the stage are all aiming for total entertainment for the professional customers that regularly frequent this REAL venue.
