In the next couple of weeks, St Paul’s Church in the Jewellery will be running English classes for members of our community who are Farsi-speaking. The vast majority only have access to Zoom via their phones – and whilst this is just about doable for a church service –  it’s really difficult for learning. The English language lessons are essential for these individual’s continued engagement with the wider Birmingham community. Therefore, we would welcome any donations of old laptops for our congregation to allow more people to take part in these classes.
