JQDT Board Seeks Project Manager

The Jewellery Quarter Development Trust (JQDT) Board are seeking a consultant to lead on a number of key projects.

The JQDT is a community interest company formed in 2011 whose main objectives are to:

  • Champion the regeneration of the JQ.
  • Deliver additional projects and services through the JQBID.
  • Develop sustainable projects that will benefit the local community.

We are looking for an experienced Project Manager, who is familiar with managing a group that may have varied interests and agendas.

The individual needs to be a team player, keep a tight control on costs and be financially astute. They will also need to be a self-starter and dedicated to the delivery of projects.

The individual will be responsible for managing a diverse range of projects.

From the monitoring of a Heritage Lottery Fund Project in the Quarter; with considerable grant funding, and very high profile; to working alongside Birmingham City Council and Birmingham City University, to create a start-up hub for students on completion of their qualifications.

Remuneration will be agreed with the successful candidate, and will be on a project by project basis.

The position will report into either the JQDT Chair or another member for the JQDT Board. The successful candidate will be expected to produce succinct reports and presentations when required on the projects they are involved with.
